Out of 100,000,000 Users, I’m LinkedIn’s 18,997th!

Just got a letter from Reid Hoffman today (first one) which told me that out of one hundred million users, I was number 18,997. Way back then, when people were still trying to figure out the value of that ‘six degrees of separation’ idea, I thought I was late in the game

Since 95% of my business comes from referrals, aside from Macs and operating systems, I’d have to say LinkedIn is the most valuable piece of software I regularly use.
